Stephanie Schwam

Stephanie joined Shed Media in 2008 as a show runner, eventually becoming VP of Production and overseeing series for ABC, LIFETIME, TLC, OWN, USA and NBC. She currently also show-runs the four-time Emmy Nominated series, “WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?” on NBC with Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky.

Prior to her work for Shed, Steph was a staff Producer for New York Times Television, where she worked under Oscar-winning director Roger Williams among others, covering everything from drug addiction to Homeland Security. Prior to that, she worked alongside BAFTA winning U.K. filmmaker, Nick Broomfield and on Peter Jennings/ABC News “The Century Project”.

Even though it was 20 (!) years ago, she wants you to know that she’s also proud to have co-edited a book with Martin Scorsese called The Making of 2001: A Space Odyssey for Random House Publishing. Copies might be found in your local used bookshop.

Steph is a world traveler whose production adventures have spanned experiences as diverse as Honduras, rural China, New York City drug dens and (almost) every reality TV friendly suburb in America.
